If you’re looking to improve your flexibility, recover from a tough workout, or just wind down and relax, this 10 Minute Evening Yoga for Beginners is just what you need!
I absolutely LOVE yoga. For the stress relief, for the health benefits, and for the mental clarity. And you know what I’ve discovered? Even just 10 minutes per day works wonders for both my body and my mind. Which is good, because given how hectic my life is, that’s often the most time that I can dedicate to the practice these days. I figure something is better than nothing!
When I have a few minutes in the evening (or really, any time of day) these are some of my favorite go-to yoga poses. They stretch my body, lengthen my muscles, and improve my posture. And the breathing! It works wonders for my state of mind.
Note: You can download a printable PDF copy of the full workout HERE.
10-Minute Evening Yoga for Beginners
Directions: Work your way through the following series of yoga stretches for a total of 10 minutes. You will want to spend about 30 seconds (or 5 very deep breaths) on each pose, and complete the circuit twice through. Not sure how to do a pose? Just click on the title of each pose for a video demonstration.
Just keepin’ it real here: I always have an audience!
And since my kids love to do yoga with me, they were begging to get on the mat and do their own poses. I can’t make this stuff up!
Enjoy, friends!
I should do this right now – I need to clear my mind of everything!
That makes two of us, GiGi! 🙂
