This healthy, kid-friendly, and protein-packed 2-Minute Peanut Butter Dip is a nutritious snack to keep your active family fueled throughout your busiest days!

2 Minute Peanut Butter Dip

In a house full of boys, food is a very big deal. Even though they’re still young, my kids eat A LOT, and I feel like I can hardly keep up! As soon as I clean up the dishes from one meal, it seems like they’re back in the kitchen and asking for a snack. And with all of that munching, I tend to fall into a routine of offering the same options regularly. After all, I want my kids to consume healthy and nutritious foods and it can be hard to constantly come up with new ideas that fit my criteria. Of course, any snack option always has to be quick and easy, too!

That’s why I’m so excited to share a new recipe with you today. This simple 2-Minute Peanut Butter Dip is truly the answer to all of your snack-time conundrums! While it’s 100% kid-friendly, it’s also absolutely perfect for adults, too. It’s packed with protein and has some healthy fats to keep you satisfied. All clean, natural, and nourishing ingredients — just what I want to give my kids, and just what I want to put into my own body.

The other great news is that the dip is PORTABLE, making it ideal for families that are on-the-go. And as Spencer is demonstrating below, we are constantly ON-THE-GO. In fact, I feel like my life is one big game of “chase” these days. The little one loves to move!

This is what he was up to while I was snapping photos of our dip!

And every few minutes he would circle back towards me and reach in for a bite to eat. The little guy was trying to swipe my dip!

So, now that you have a delicious and healthy dip for on-the-go snacking, what do you pair it with?  I have just the answer for that, too! While it’s delicious drizzled on banana slices or served with apples, the true way to my children’s heart is when I serve my peanut butter dip with these new Honey Maid Go Bites! After all, I have professed our love for graham crackers on here more than once. They are a pantry staple that we buy in bulk at Costco, so you better believe that we were excited to see a new version appear on store shelves!

Recent data revealed that less than 1% of children get the recommended amount of whole grains in their diets. YIKES! And we all know that protein is an essential nutrient that kids need, PLUS it helps to keep us satisfied and full between meals. The Honey Maid Go Bites provide kids with 15% of both the recommended daily value of whole grains (48 grams) and protein (34 grams). That’s double Bang For Your Buck, so to speak!

Just as important, though, these Honey Maid Go Bites actually taste amazing! There’s no sense in buying a snack for your kids if they don’t want to eat it, right? Honey Maid Go Bites are crispy graham pockets filled with delicious ingredients, and made with 7 grams of whole grains and 5 grams of protein per serving. Baked with whole grains, they contain no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors. They come with both Chocolate and Vanilla flavored fillings, and you can buy them at mass retailers nationwide for about $4.19 per box.

To make this a healthy snack-on-the-go, just place your dip into a little sealed container like this one! I pick up these clear plastic cups with lids at any big box store and keep them on hand for school lunches and snacks.

See? All packed up and ready to go — no mess involved! It’s a great option to stick in your kids’ school lunch boxes, but it would also be great to bring with you to work or on a road trip. Avoid the office candy jar and satisfy your sweet tooth with whole grains and protein instead!

When these guys got home from preschool one day last week, they were treated to a new snack surprise. Look at their reactions! Gibbs was willing to at least pose for a photo or two. Casey, on the other hand, just proceeded to SHOVEL the Honey Maid Go Bites into his mouth as fast as he could. He definitely didn’t want to stop to say “cheese” for the camera…and I’m not even sure that he ever actually chewed the food before swallowing it!

JOY!

untitled-14

In our chocolate-versus-vanilla taste test, we all agreed that vanilla is our absolute favorite! Casey said that these healthy Honey Maid Go Bites actually taste “like vanilla frosting” in a graham cracker, and I couldn’t agree more!

The classic flavor combination of peanut butter, chocolate, and graham crackers just got a whole lot better and a whole lot HEALTHIER! Enjoy, friends!
