Rich, creamy, chocolatey...and good for you? That's right! These Healthy Chocolate Almond Fudge Pops are an easy, low-calorie, clean eating snack or dessert that will power you through the summer!

You guys! These pops are the real deal. And nope…they’re NOT too good to be true!

My clean eating fudge pops check all of the boxes: they include healthy fat (from the almond butter), protein (from the almond butter and Greek yogurt), and fiber to keep us satisfied. Basically, these silky-smooth, creamy and dreamy chocolate treats are made with so many wholesome ingredients that you can enjoy them at any time of day — even for breakfast (if chocolate in the morning is your kind of thing)! They offer vital nutrients, plus a powerful and satisfying energy boost!

But what good is a healthy frozen treat if it doesn’t taste good, right? So let me tell you…my kids have given these two BIG thumbs up. In fact, I haven’t purchased a single box of pops all summer long because we’ve been making batches of these instead. They’re obviously healthier, but they’re also cheaper, easier, and FASTER than running out to the store.

So how did I manage to create these rich and creamy pops while still keeping them healthy? In addition to the Greek yogurt and the thickness from bananas, my go-to base for any smoothie or frozen pop is always Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk because it adds a creamy texture with a hint of vanilla flavor…for only 30 calories per serving!

And I’m not the only one who thinks that this beverage is great! Almond Breeze has partnered with Team USA Volleyball to help fuel the elite athletes through some of their most grueling summer workouts. A hot, sunny, and sandy beach session = a mandatory frozen recovery snack afterwards! Thanks to plenty of protein, healthy fats, potassium, and antioxidants, these Healthy Chocolate Almond Fudge Pops are an awesome option for fitness fanatics, busy moms, and active children! Rich, creamy, chocolatey...and good for you? Healthy Chocolate Almond Fudge Pops

5 from 1 vote
Prep: 5 minutes
Total: 5 minutes
Servings 6 -8 pops (depending on the size of your molds)

Ingredients

  • 2 very ripe medium bananas
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt I used 2%
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze almondmilk
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons smooth almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until completely smooth. Pour mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for at least 2 hours (or until completely frozen).
  • Tip: to easily remove the pops from the mold, run the outside of the molds under lukewarm water for about 15 seconds. They should slide right out!

Notes

I get exactly 7 popsicles with this recipe using THESE molds.

I took the survey. My mom made a version of these when we were kids, I don’t have any children but I do like to be in the kitchen and I do have lots of niece’s and nephew’s and I have a feeling they are going to like these. My brothers and sister will be begging for a taste also, I might share.

  8. So many yeses to these pops, Blair!! Love that I can enjoy a childhood favorite popsicle and not feel so guilty about it. Thank you for this recipe!!

I took the survey! I love using Almond milk. One of my weaknesses is ice cream, so I am really looking forward to making these. They look and sound yummy! Thanks for sharing!

  10. This recipe looks awesome, and super easy! Almond Breeze is my favorite non-dairy milk brand. I took the survey 🙂

This recipe reminds me of my childhood and it’s perfect since I can’t handle dairy and never have been able to. My son is the same way and as much as we love ice cream it’s never a good idea for our stomachs. This is a quick and simple recipe I’m definitely going to try next time I go grocery shopping. Took the survey.

  12. Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a fudge pop! Reminds me of summers at my grandmother’s house.

Oh, and I took the survey 🙂
