What do we do around here on a warm summer evening? Head on over to the Madison Tractor Pull, which was sponsored by the Madison Young Farmers! It is definitely the place to see and be seen in our town. A true community gathering!

My boys kept referring to the tractor pull as โ€œJohn Deere Heaven,โ€ which was a pretty accurate description. By now, I think that weโ€™ve established Caseyโ€™s love for all things John Deere, so you can just imagine how excited he was for this event.

The scene is definitely small-town America. There are plenty of trucks, tractors, and trailers to be seen, along with loud country music, cowboy boots, and neighbors socializing. My friend Kaci referred to it as โ€œthe fashion show!โ€ Hah.

I know that Iโ€™m biased, but I honestly cannot think of a better place to raise my boys. Itโ€™s a community where life is simple, thereโ€™s a friendly and familiar face wherever you go, and the mountains, farms, and great outdoors are their playground. It makes for some truly happy children!
